Texture roller generator
Generate a printable texture roller from the relief of a model in your scene — the pattern wrapped around a barrel with an axle hole, raised or recessed
Upload an STL, OBJ or 3MF and get the roller for it: your model’s surface relief wrapped around a barrel, repeated as many times around and along as you ask, with an axle hole for a dowel. It reads the model’s HEIGHT, not its outline — so a leaf brings its veins and a carved tile brings what is carved into it, which is the difference between this and a cookie cutter built from the same file. Choose raised, which presses the pattern into the clay, or recessed, which leaves the clay standing proud; recessed eats into the tube wall, so the axle hole is narrowed to keep that wall printable rather than letting the pattern cut through into it. The panel works out the one number that decides whether a pattern reads at all — how big a single motif ends up once it is wrapped, which is the barrel’s circumference divided by the repeats and no number you typed — and tells you when filling that tile has stretched the motif out of shape. The wrap is seamless by construction: the last column of the barrel joins the first exactly, so it repeats with no join line. Print it once in PLA or PETG and roll clay, polymer clay, fondant or dough as often as you like. The file is read in your browser, so there is no upload to wait for. Download a print-ready STL or 3MF.
