Rack & pinion generator
Generate a rack and a meshing pinion (rotary ↔ linear)
A round pinion rolling along a straight toothed rack — the drive behind printer axes, steering and sliding doors, and it runs both ways: rotation into straight-line motion, or back. The two share a module so they mesh, and the pinion is dropped onto the rack’s pitch line and phased so a tooth sits in a rack gap. Both come out as separate editable bodies. Download a print-ready STL or 3MF.
