Fan frame generator
Generate a printable axial fan frame — a standard square and hole pattern, a bore to suit your rotor, and an optional guard and motor boss
Name the size and the part bolts on. The 40, 60, 80 and 120 mm frames carry their own square, hole pitch and screw size, from the same table the panel-cutout shapes are built from — so a frame you generate and a hole you cut for it agree by construction rather than because two people typed the same number. The bore is yours to set: make it your rotor tip diameter plus a little running clearance, and the panel turns that round and tells you the largest rotor a given bore will take, which is the figure to carry over to the axial fan generator. Add struts and concentric rings for a finger guard, and the panel reports the largest thing that still passes through it. Switch on the motor boss and the struts carry a central cylinder you can mount a small motor to, so the frame, the guard and the mount come off the plate as one piece. The whole part prints face down with no support anywhere: the guard is laid flat on the plate and the bore above it is a vertical wall. It makes no claim about how much air anything moves.
