Plug, cap and sleeve generator
Generate a printable hole plug, cable grommet, tube end cap, flanged bushing or bumper foot — sized from the hole, shaft or tube it fits
Five round, flanged parts, each sized from the thing it fits rather than from a number you guess. A hole plug, and the sleeve of a grommet or bushing, are made exactly the diameter of the hole: a printed outside comes out slightly large and a hole slightly small, so a line-to-line pair is already a push fit, and adding interference on top only stops rigid plastic going in at all. Where something has to pass or turn — the cable in a grommet, the shaft in a bushing, the tube in an end cap — the bore gets its clearance from the same Fit control every other part uses, and a Custom figure is the whole difference across, exactly as a fit coupon measures it. Pick an end cap by the tube’s name, because 3/4in PVC, EMT conduit and copper are three different diameters. A bumper foot takes its clearance hole and head recess from the published fastener tables. Every part arrives the way it prints, flange or closed end on the bed, so nothing needs support. Download a print-ready STL or 3MF.
