Print preview

Tint overhangs and thin walls live as you model.

Print preview is a live printability overlay: while it is on, the scene is analysed continuously and the faces that will need support (overhangs past your angle threshold) and walls thinner than your minimum are tinted right in the viewport, with a summary badge. It is display-only — it never changes the model or the exported mesh. Unlike the on-demand print check in the 3D Print panel, it updates as you work; the thresholds come from your overhang-angle and wall-thickness settings.

1. Toggle Print preview in the view controls.
2. Overhang faces that will need support tint orange; walls thinner than your minimum tint magenta.
3. Read the summary badge and adjust the model until it reports print-ready.
