Move & arrange panels

Dock, pin, reorder, or move editor panels between the two sidebars.

The editor’s left and right sidebars are built from dockable panels. Each sidebar’s icon strip switches the active panel, and panels can be pinned so they stay visible and stacked. Move any panel between the two sidebars — or pin/unpin and reorder it — by dragging its icon or header grip, or from its “⋯” menu; Reset layout restores the default arrangement. Your layout is saved automatically per browser, and when you are signed in it syncs to your account so it follows you across devices.

1. Each sidebar has an icon strip down its edge — click an icon to switch which panel it shows (Shapes, Generate, Components, Reference, 3D Print on the left; Properties, Variables on the right).
2. Drag a panel’s icon — or the grip (⣿) in its header — onto the other sidebar’s icon strip to move it there, or drop it on the “Pin to bottom” zone to keep it always visible.
3. Or open a panel’s “⋯” menu for Pin / Unpin, Move to the other sidebar, and Reset layout.
4. Scene and the Timeline are pinned (always visible) by default; any panel can be pinned or unpinned the same way.
