Print check

Validate the model prints cleanly.

Print Check flags problems that ruin prints — non-watertight geometry, parts larger than the build volume, steep overhangs, or thin walls — so you catch them before slicing. It also reports the measured figures: volume, surface area, and the centre of mass (useful for spotting a part that will tip over). Choose a filament, infill and shell thickness and it estimates how much material the print consumes, in volume, length, weight and cost. That last group is an estimate worked out from the solid volume and surface area, not from a sliced toolpath — expect it to read slightly heavy on boxy parts, and treat your slicer as the exact answer.

1. Open the 3D Print panel from the right sidebar (click its icon).
2. Run the print check.
3. Review watertightness, fit, overhangs, and wall thickness.
4. Pick your filament and infill to see the mass, filament length, and cost.
