Outgrown TinkerCAD? OwlCAD is a free, browser-based parametric CAD with editable history, edge fillets, exact dimensions, STEP import/export, and a built-in print check. Import your STL, OBJ, or SVG and keep going.
TinkerCAD is a great place to start. When you need editable history, real fillets, exact dimensions, and STEP files, OwlCAD picks up there — still free, still in your browser, no install. Bring your models with you; you won’t have to rebuild them from scratch.

In TinkerCAD, export your design as or (or
for a 2D shape). In OwlCAD, open the editor and choose File → Import , or just drag the file onto the build plate — units are detected and corrected on the way in. An SVG comes in as an editable extrude you can keep shaping.
The features people tell us they came here for after outgrowing a drag-and-drop modeler.
A real parametric history: re-open a past sketch, boolean, or dimension and the model rebuilds downstream. In TinkerCAD, changing a parameter means starting the shape over.
Round or bevel a single edge, or every edge of a part — fillets that hold their exact radius instead of distorting when you stretch the shape.
Type a length and angle as you sketch, add coincident / parallel / distance constraints, and measure between any two points. Precision, not eyeballing the grid.
Import and export solid STEP B-rep, plus STL, 3MF, OBJ, GLB, and SVG — so your work flows to Fusion, SolidWorks, or FreeCAD and back. TinkerCAD exports mesh only.
Flag overhangs, thin walls, and whether the model fits your printer’s build volume — with hollowing, drainage holes, and auto-orient — before it reaches your slicer.
Your projects are private by default, autosave to the cloud, and keep a version history you can roll back. Share a read-only link only when you choose to.
