Move a face

Click any face, then move, rotate, or scale it with the gizmo — the gizmo stays for repeated edits.

Move face grabs any flat face and transforms it with the gizmo — pushing it along its normal grows or cuts material, while rotating or scaling it leans and lofts the surrounding walls. It reshapes an existing face in place; Extrude face instead pulls a new section out of a face. The gizmo persists after each commit so several edits chain in one session, and it works on any solid, including booleans and imported meshes.

  1. Activate Move face.
  2. Click a flat face to pick it — a gizmo appears on it.
  3. Drag the gizmo to move, rotate, or scale the face (press M / R / S to switch).
  4. The face stays selected after each edit, so you can keep adjusting it.
