Pulley / sprocket
A timing-belt pulley or a roller-chain sprocket.
A toothed wheel for belt and chain drives: a **timing pulley** (with a GT-style tooth pitch and optional guide flanges to keep the belt tracking) or a **roller-chain sprocket**. The pitch diameter follows the standard relation for the chosen tooth count and pitch — belt PD = teeth × pitch ÷ π, chain PD = pitch ÷ sin(π ÷ teeth) — and the tooth/roller pockets are a print-ready approximation, so verify engagement against your specific belt or chain. Pairs with the gear train family for full drivetrains; stays editable in the property panel.
- Open the Generate panel from the left sidebar and choose Pulley / sprocket (under Gears & drives).
- Pick Timing pulley or Sprocket, then set the tooth count and the belt/chain pitch.
- Set the bore diameter and width; for a timing pulley, toggle the guide flanges.
- Generate: the toothed wheel drops in as one editable part.
