Board mount plate

A standoff plate sized to a PCB’s mounting-hole pattern.

A mounting plate with standoff posts placed at a board’s mounting-hole pattern, so a PCB bolts down cleanly inside a project. Pick your board and the outline, hole positions and hole diameter all come from its published dimensions; set the standoff height/diameter and the plate margin to suit. Each standoff is drilled with a self-tap pilot so an M2.5/M3 screw bites directly.

The presets cover the Raspberry Pi family (5, 4, 3, 3 A+, Zero, Pico), Arduino (Uno, Leonardo, Nano), the ESP32 DevKit, the Orange Pi Zero 2 and the BTT SKR v1.4 Turbo. Common shorthands work too — "arduino", "pi zero", "esp32", "pico" all resolve to the right board — and anything not listed can be entered with Custom.

Real hole patterns are not tidy, which is the point of using a preset. An Arduino Uno's four holes do not form a rectangle at all — no two of them line up — and a Raspberry Pi's holes sit 3.5 mm from the SD-card end but 23.5 mm from the connector end, so the pattern is 10 mm off the middle of the board. Standoffs placed symmetrically "by eye" miss on both counts. Each preset carries its true coordinates instead.

Built from ordinary primitives and booleans, so it stays parametric — drop it into an enclosure base to mount electronics.

  1. Open the Generate panel from the left sidebar and choose Board mount (under Mounts).
  2. The plate with its standoffs drops in as one editable part. The parameters open in the Properties panel, where you set them.
  3. Pick your board from the preset list, or choose Custom and enter its outline and hole spacing.
  4. Set the standoff height and diameter, the plate margin, and the plate thickness.
