Choose an AI model

Pick what you are making first — then, if there is a real choice, the model behind it.

The Generate panel asks what you are making before it asks which model, because the three types are genuinely different tools. **Editable parametric models** come back as our node tree — boxes, cylinders and booleans you can keep editing, with real dimensions. **Precise CAD** is for mechanical parts where the numbers matter. **Sculpted models** are organic and detailed — characters, creatures, decoration — and are not dimensionally precise. Most of the time the type is the only choice you need to make, so the per-model picker stays collapsed unless there is more than one model you can actually run; adding your own provider keys is what usually makes several appear. Where we have published benchmark figures for a model, its row shows them — a fidelity score out of five and the share of test runs that came back watertight — measured by running the same set of prompts through every model and grading the results. If the one you picked is not the top-scoring one, a line under the picker says what you are trading away, ranked only against the models offered to you. Prices differ because the providers differ in real cost by an order of magnitude, so the picker always shows what a run will spend before you spend it.

  1. Open the Generate panel and choose what you are making: Editable parametric model, Precise CAD, or Sculpted model.
  2. If more than one model is available to you for that type, a Model row appears under the cards — open it to see them all.
  3. Read each row: what one run costs in credits, or “Your key · free” when it runs on your own key, plus any published quality figures.
  4. Pick one and generate — or leave the default, which is the best-scoring model available to you.
