History timeline

Scrub, retro-edit, and branch your edit history.

The timeline is your model’s full parametric history. Every operation is a step you can scrub to, edit in place (re-running the steps after it), or remove. Rolling back is non-destructive — a viewport banner lets you return to the latest state or commit to the earlier point, which drops the later steps. Editing while rolled back branches the history.

  1. Open the Timeline panel to see every operation, newest at the top down to Start.
  2. Click any step to roll the model back to that point — it is non-destructive.
  3. Click a step’s edit control to change its values and replay the steps after it.
  4. While rolled back, use the viewport banner to Restore (commit to here) or Cancel (return to latest).
