Duplicate and delete

Copy objects and remove them.

Duplicate clones the selection in place so you can drag the copy away. Standard copy/cut/paste also works through the system clipboard.

1. Select an object.
2. Press Ctrl+D (or Duplicate) to copy it in place.
3. Press Delete to remove the selection.
